Brief introduction of fermentor

  Fermentor refers to an industrial device used for microbial fermentation. Its main body is generally a main cylinder made of stainless steel plate, and its volume ranges from 1m3 to hundreds of M3. Attention should be paid to strict and reasonable structure in design and processing.
  It can withstand steam sterilization, has certain operation flexibility, minimize internal accessories (avoid dead angle), has strong material and energy transfer performance, and can be adjusted to facilitate cleaning and reduce pollution. It is suitable for the production of a variety of products and reduce energy consumption.
  purpose
  The structure of fermentation tank for anaerobic fermentation (such as alcohol and solvent production) can be relatively simple. For aerobic fermentation (such as producing antibiotics, amino acids, organic acids, vitamins, etc.), the structure of fermentation tank is more complex because it needs to continuously inject a large amount of sterile air into the tank, and in order to consider the utilization rate of air, the commonly used fermentation tanks are mechanical stirring fermentation tank, bubbling fermentation tank and airlift fermentation tank.
  The fermentation process of dairy products and liquor is a sterile and pollution-free process. The aseptic system is adopted in the fermentation tank to avoid and prevent the pollution of microorganisms in the air, greatly extending the shelf life of the products and the purity of the products. The aseptic breathing hole or aseptic positive pressure fermentation system is specially designed and installed on the tank. A Milo plate or a labyrinth type jacket is arranged on the tank body, and the heating or cooling medium can be introduced for circulating heating or cooling. The capacity of fermentor is 300-15000l. According to the scope of use, fermentor can be divided into small fermentor in laboratory, pilot production fermentor, large fermentor, etc.
  Fermentation tank is widely used in dairy products, beverage, bioengineering, pharmaceutical, fine chemical and other industries. The tank is equipped with interlayer, insulation layer, heating, cooling and insulation. The tank body and the upper and lower filling heads (or cones) are processed by spinning R-angle. The inner wall of the tank is polished by mirror, and there is no sanitary dead angle. The fully enclosed design ensures that the materials are always mixed and fermented in a pollution-free state. The equipment is equipped with air breathing hole, CIP cleaning nozzle, manhole and other devices.
  Classification of fermentation tank: according to the equipment of fermentation tank, it is divided into mechanical agitation ventilation fermentation tank and non mechanical agitation ventilation fermentation tank;
  According to the needs of microbial growth and metabolism, it can be divided into aerobic fermentation tank and anaerobic fermentation tank.
  Fermentation tank is a kind of equipment for mechanical stirring and fermentation of materials. The equipment adopts internal circulation mode and uses agitator to disperse and break bubbles. It has high dissolved oxygen rate and good mixing effect. The tank body is made of SUS304 or 316L imported stainless steel, and the tank is equipped with automatic spray cleaning head to ensure that the production process meets GMP requirements.
  Structural characteristics of fermentation tank
  1. Online CIP cleaning and sip sterilization (121°C / 0.1MPa).
  2. According to the requirements of health level, the structure design is humanized and easy to operate. Smooth transmission and low noise.
  3. Suitable diameter height ratio design, customized stirring device, energy saving, good stirring and fermentation effect.
  4. Mirror polishing treatment of inner tank surface (roughness Ra ≤ 0.4 & micro; m); stretch flanging process is adopted for all process openings such as inlet and outlet pipes, mirrors and manholes, and arc transition is adopted for welding of inner tank, which is smooth and easy to clean without dead angle, so as to ensure the reliability and stability of production process and meet the requirements of cGMP.
  Main components of fermentation tank
  Tank: it is mainly used to cultivate and ferment all kinds of bacteria, with good sealing performance (to prevent the bacteria vinegar self-priming fermentation tank from being polluted). There is a stirring paddle in the tank, which is used to continuously stir the sparger at the bottom during the fermentation process, which is used to pass in the air or oxygen required by the growth of bacteria. There are control sensors on the top plate of the tank, and the most commonly used are pH electrode and do electrode, which are used to monitor the fermentation During the fermentation process, the pH and do change controller is used to display and control the fermentation conditions and so on.
