On the maintenance of fermentation tank

  1. In case of air leakage at the joint of air inlet pipe and water outlet pipe, when tightening the joint does not solve the problem, the filler shall be added or replaced.
  2. The pressure gauge and safety valve should be checked regularly, and replaced or repaired in time in case of failure.
  3. When cleaning the fermentation tank, please use a soft brush to brush, do not use a hard tool to scratch, so as not to damage the surface of the fermentation tank.
  4. Matching instruments should be calibrated once a year to ensure normal use.
  5. Electrical appliances, instruments, sensors and other electrical equipment are strictly prohibited to directly contact with water and steam to prevent moisture.
  6. When the equipment is out of use, it should be cleaned in time to drain the residual water in the fermentation tank and pipes; loosen the cover and hand hole screw of the fermentation tank to prevent the permanent deformation of the sealing ring.
  7. Carbon steel equipment such as operation platform and constant temperature water tank shall be painted regularly (once a year) to prevent corrosion.
  8. Always check the oil level of the reducer. If the lubricating oil is not enough, it needs to be increased in time.
  9. Change the lubricating oil of reducer regularly to prolong its service life.
  10. If the fermentation tank is not used for the time being, it is necessary to empty the fermentation tank and drain the residual water in the tank and each pipe.
  Notes for fermenter
  1) The liquid level of the tank must be checked before sterilization, and all electrodes must be below the liquid level.
  2) Before turning on the power supply of the fermentation tank, be sure to check whether the cooling water has been turned on and whether the temperature probe has been inserted into the tank, otherwise the heating circuit will be burnt out.
  3) During the fermentation process, the working table must be kept clean, the used culture bottles and other articles shall be cleaned in time, and the acid-base liquid or water splashed out for some reason shall be wiped dry immediately.
  4) During the installation, disassembly and sterilization of the tank, special attention should be paid to the pH electrode and the vulnerable and expensive parts of the tank.
  Structure and composition of fermentation tank:
  Fermentor is widely used in beverage, chemical, food, dairy, seasoning, wine making, pharmaceutical and other industries. The components of the fermentation tank include: the tank body is mainly used to cultivate and ferment various bacteria, with good sealing performance (to prevent bacteria from being polluted); there is stirring slurry in the tank body, which is used for continuous stirring in the fermentation process; there is aeration sparger at the bottom, which is used to pass in the air or oxygen needed for the growth of bacteria There are control sensors on the top plate of the tank, the most commonly used are pH electrode and do electrode, which are used to monitor the changes of pH and do in the fermentation process; the controller is used to display and control the fermentation conditions. According to the equipment of fermentation tank, it can be divided into mechanical agitation ventilation fermentation tank and non mechanical agitation ventilation fermentation tank; according to the needs of microbial growth and metabolism, it can be divided into aerobic fermentation tank and anaerobic fermentation tank.
